After obtaining a diploma in economic affairs of the Chamber of Commerce of Paris at the University of Aix-en-Provence, Susanne Valluet studied law at the Universities of Freiburg (Germany) and Montpellier (Maîtrise en Droit, France). She completed her legal traineeship in Düsseldorf with stages inter alia at the Federal German Ministry of Economic Affairs and at Mannesmann Dematic S.A. in Madrid.
After her admission to the bar in Germany, Susanne worked for two years for KPMG Brussels in the field of auditing. She then practiced as a lawyer for over 11 years in the EU offices of US law firms in Brussels advising multinational companies on EU, German and other EU Member States´ law in the pharmaceutical, medical device, food and cosmetic sector. In 2012, she joined the Düsseldorf office of an international business law firm counselling, among others, a renowned sector association concerning the German penal law reform in the healthcare sector.
In 2015, she was appointed head of the law department of the internationally renowned Arts Foundation of the State of North Rhine Westphalia focusing in particular on contract management and public procurement law. During this time, she chaired the work group on public procurement law of the German Museums Association.
Susanne is part of the NOVACOS team as an Associate since 2018.
