Kristina Thelen
Kristina studied law at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, specialising in medical contract law and social security law.
After passing her first state examination, she worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Legal Issues in Medicine in Düsseldorf, where she contributed to academic publications and was involved in academic lecturing.
During her legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Düsseldorf, she completed stages, inter alia, at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin in the Department for Fundamental Issues of European Policy, at the international law firm Hengeler Mueller in the field of public commercial law, and at Ratajczak & Partner, a law firm specialising in medical and medical malpractice law.
After being admitted to the bar in November 2023, she worked at the international law firm Clifford Chance in the Healthcare, Life Sciences & Chemicals team in Düsseldorf. Her practice at Clifford Chance focused on judicial and extrajudicial defence in competition law disputes. She also advised on distribution and marketing authorisation issues under pharmaceutical, medical device, food and chemical law.
She joined the NOVACOS team in August 2025.
